This photo is the view from The Anchorage, which is set above the Truro and Tresillian rivers, this semi-detached Victorian house faces south with spectacular views over the wide expanse of rivers. A peaceful area, as the lane in front goes no further than Malpas. Post office/shop and Heron Pub are 2 minutes’ walk. North and south coasts are both within easy reach. Park your car at the side of the house. The house is large and light, and all main rooms have the spectacular view across the rivers. Very pleasant kitchen with an Aga (also electric cooker). Utility room and downstairs WC. South facing dining room overlooks the front terrace and out over the water. Sitting room with Victorian fireplace also overlooks the estuary and wooded banks beyond. Upstairs are 3 good sized bedrooms, two double and one twin. The master bedroom has en-suite bathroom (bath, power-shower, WC) and patio doors leading into the back terraces, as well as the estuary view. The other 2 bedrooms also have beautiful views over the rivers. Family bathroom (Bath/WC) Very well furnished and comfortable.The garden at the back provides a secluded seating area. Enjoy the water views from the front terrace or in the private paved area across the lane directly above the water’s edge. Because of the terraced gardens and proximity to the lane and estuary, the owner considers The Anchorage unsuitable for under-fives, unless they are young enough not to wander.
