. After the tremendous success of the Eclipse, - the newspapers got it all wrong - visit Cornwall's beautiful Roseland Peninsula, the most spectacular and unspoilt stretch of coast in the South of Cornwall. You will be a short walk (3/4 of a mile) from Pendower beach which joins with Carne Beach at low tide to give over a mile of golden sands. We watched the eclipse from Carne beacon with views as far as the eyes can see ( a 2000 year old bronze age burial mound where it is said the King of Gerrans is buried in his golden ship) . If you missed the eclipse view it now from St.Mawes castle featured in our eclipse simulation or come here yourself and see the spectacular sunset over Gerrans bay. We are now taking bookings for the Millennium, we can accommodate up to 15/18 people (or smaller groups) in three cottages; it promises to be quite a party. Celebrate the millennium in style in a snug self-catering cottage in a beautiful rural setting on the Roseland Peninsula. Near beach, National Trust Gardens and Houses. Walk the Coastal path, excellent pubs and restaurants nearby. North Coast surfing and Newquay's nightclubs only 30 minutes drive. Details. |
